Water Based
These non-filled pitches are the elite standard, requiring water to lubricate the dense, short fibers for a fast, consistent, and less abrasive playing surface. The water reduces friction, leading to a smoother ball roll and minimal skin burns upon impact.
Sand Filled
These are the most cost-effective option for multi-sport use, featuring longer, less dense fibers almost entirely filled with sand to support the pile. The heavy sand infill typically results in a slower ball speed and higher risk of friction burns for players.
Dry Turf
This newer, sustainable technology aims to replicate the speed and control of a water-based pitch without the need for constant irrigation. These innovative surfaces are designed with special yarn technology and shockpads to offer high-speed, elite-level play while dry.
